Loom Armchair by Nghiêm Vũ
Nghiêm Vũ is an interior-design graduate with a love of creating and exploring spaces. His approach is always to orient himself to explore and identify the problems and needs of contemporary society, and then find ways to solve and meet those needs through his own artistic perspective in order to create suitable products that bring a little fun to each person’s living space. After graduating, Vu joined District Eight, a furniture company in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), as a designer. He also continued to research and develop designs independently, exploring and developing his individual design philosophy. In 2022, he entered a design for a Loom sofa into the Hoa Mai Furniture Design Competition, co-organised by the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCMC.
