Denny R Priyatna is an Indonesian industrial and product designer who is the founder of the Jakarta-based AIEVL design studio. An alumnus of the Bandung Institute of Technology, Denny also has a Master’s degree from Central Saint Martins in London. In his work, he likes to explore the interaction between humans and inanimate objects. He also experiments with materials and manufacturing techniques to create commercial, conceptual and experimental products. Denny’s works have been exhibited internationally and won various awards, including the Silver Award at the A’ Design Award 2014–15 and two Merit Winners at the Singapore Furniture Design Award 2013.
