Kaia Table lamp by Chini studio
After graduating in industrial design from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, Chini Lichangco worked for world-renowned designer Kenneth Cobonpue in Cebu, where she gained a deeper understanding of design principles and the properties of different materials. She also learned how to appreciate the beauty of nature and use it as inspiration for original and unique designs. As she develops her concepts, Chini is dedicated to experimenting with diverse materials to create unique pieces that are thoughtful and elegant. She envisions these pieces as characters in a bright and colourful world, each moulded to have a different persona. Chini studio creates lighting fixtures and table top accessories, working with local suppliers and craftsmen to showcase Filipino talent, ingenuity and craftsmanship.
